Summer Break

Greater Dayton Crochet Guild will not be holding formal meeting during July, August and September. We are taking a break from meetings to relax and have a fantastic summer with our families. Please do continue to crochet for charities. We donate Warm Up America with afghans, hats and scarfs. These go locally to St. Vincent DePaul. We also provide preemie garments and blankets to local hospitals. The local communities are greatly appreciative of your contributions to these charities.

8 Years and Growing

It is so exciting to see our guild grow and take on more vitality. 

As the year moves on into it's second month, here in the Miami Valley the weather is mild if not a bit warm for this time of year. 'Gestation weather', when you know Spring will soon be upon us, birthing new life into the firmament. New life also abounds within our guild. New faces at the meetings, more interested in joining our fray and new hands on the board to toil at becoming a strong and more helpful guild. Our Many Thanks to all those willing to contribute there time and energy.

We are actively seeking more avenues with in our various communities to teach young and old alike as well as more charitable organizations accepting the donation of crocheted items.

It has been decided that our board members will all complete the Masters of Advanced Crochet Course Stitches and Techniques - offered By CGOA.   We will be able to offer more to those who would like to learn the various aspects of the crocheted fabric. It is MOST EXCITING!
